Following a successful pilot optimization in 2023, Trelleborg Sealing Solutions has now completed optimization of all 44 robotic cells in their production – with PPS Automation as a dedicated partner.
Already in the early stages, the collaboration showed promising results: A pilot test on a single UR5 cobot demonstrated that PPS could reduce load time from 50 to 30 seconds – equivalent to 765 saved production hours per year per 8 robots. Now, the optimization has been rolled out across the entire production facility.

From pilot to full-scale optimization
The goal was always clear: to create a more efficient, stable, and consistent operation in the robotic cells servicing Trelleborg’s CNC machines.
The optimization project included mapping, redesign, and reprogramming of 44 robots – with full focus on performance and minimal downtime.
